A number of CPA review providers publish pass rates of students who use their materials. While this creates great marketing sizzle, it is usually more hype than fact. Since there is no completely unbiased way to calculate pass rates, Bisk CPA Review would rather not publish numbers that could be considered misleading or deceitful. For example, several companies who provide pass rates calculate them by polling their own customers, which raises some questions as to the validity of those figures: Was every customer polled? How do they account for the fact that people who did not pass are not likely to respond to this kind of survey? Did all customers apply themselves and put in the appropriate time and effort with the materials? Did customers who responded use any other provider’s materials, or did they use just that one company’s?
According to the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), overall pass rates are currently in the mid-40s. Therefore, it’s extremely suspect for a CPA review provider to advertise pass rates in the 80th or 90th percentile. CPA exam materials are a big investment. It’s important to know the facts and ask exactly how pass rates were calculated. As soon as possible. Several studies have shown that the key to passing the CPA exam is allowing yourself adequate study time. So how much should you plan on studying? At least three months (or more) if possible. back to top - What is the schedule for the CPA exam?
The exam is offered up to six days a week, during two out of every three months. A candidate can sit for one or more parts of the exam during a test period but may not take a specific part of the exam more than once during that same test period. Each State Board can establish its own policy on the timeframe in which a candidate must pass all four parts of the exam. The AICPA has recommended that the period be 18 months.

BISK CPA REVIEW WITHDRAWAL AND MATERIALS RETURN POLICY: You may withdraw from an Instructor lead CPA Review class, and receive a full refund, by calling Bisk Education at any time up to 3:30 p.m. on the Student Enrollment deadline date for your class as published on Bisk’s website. Should you not be completely satisfied with any of our non-instructor lead products for any reason, call us within ten (10) days of the invoice date to receive a refund. All refund requests must be made by phone. A Return Authorization number will be assigned by Bisk during your call. This Return Authorization Number is required to receive a refund. If you have received materials that need to be returned, you will also be sent a mail return label. Books and Materials must be returned postage pre-paid. All books and materials must be received within thirty (30) days of the date of a valid withdrawal or refund request, or you will be charged the retail rate for the books and materials. To facilitate the processing of your return, include a copy of your original invoice, or invoice number and the “Return Authorization Number” in the box of returned goods. We advise that the return shipment be packaged in new packaging and insured, as we cannot be responsible for books and materials that do not arrive at our facility in the appropriate condition. Unreturned books and materials fees will be deducted from any refund amount you are owed. Once we have received the returned product, we will issue the appropriate product refund. To qualify to receive a refund, books and materials must be returned in their original condition.
